Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 yearly
Job Overview:
Our client a Precision metals manufacturer with Manufacturing plants in Europe and the US are currently looking for a Manufacturing Plant Manager.
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Manager to join our team and drive operational success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, with a proven track record in leading teams and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering, and quality.
- Lead the plant's safety and culture initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
- Employ lean manufacturing techniques to meet production goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Resolve problems efficiently to improve working relationships and operational performance.
- Oversee policies, procedures, and processes to minimize costs and maximize production efficiency.
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans that increase profitability while reducing overhead.
- Coordinate purchasing, production, quality, and distribution processes.
- Implement new technologies and processes to build sustainable competitive advantages.
- Champion health, environment, and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Prepare and maintain plant budgets, monitoring costs to meet budget goals.
- Foster a culture of involvement, communication, mutual trust, respect, and a passion for excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Plant Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in lean manufacturing/Six Sigma.
- Experience in metals manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
